Have yoy allready tried new leads for your sparkplugs,as suggested Leeps?
Maybe the aren't 100% anymore,with misfires as a result.This is a common problem I understood,with the same symptomes.After all,you tried all the other suspect's

I know that i haven't replied in a long time but been busting my *** getting this problem sorted out and i think ive finally done it .... crossed fingers but its been fixed for two days and about 8 runs in fifth gear at 4000 rpms to 5000 rpms ... and no hesitation .... so this is what happend.

After all the info i got back i started suspecting the coils and plugs so i took it back to the dealers who did the service. They found the plugs ok, the leads ok and they even swopped the coil pack ... also ok , the mechanic was puzzled so he took me to a turbo specialist ... (no faults or error codes on the secs monitor)

So the turbo specialist took my manual boost controller off and walla the problem seemed to have gone away .. boy was i happy ...till later that day i found it started hesitating again ... sigh ...

So yesterday actually my friend was putting silicon hoses onto his car and we were looking at my car cos we were still puzzled ... neways looking at the y piece underneath the intercooler it had some black stuff on the intercooler by the pipe ... it looks like a leak ... ?? don't know ... neways his y piece was in much better condition so we swopped that and also changed the piping from the blow off valve to the manifold with a silicon pipe ....

and what do you know ... the hesitation has so far gone .... don't know why but im thinking maybe the y piece was leaking or the pipe to the blowoff valve was constricted ... ?? can anybody tell me why this would solve my problem ???

thanks to everyone and will tell you if it comes back ...
crossing my fingers that this is a true fix ....

I don't have a clue why would this sort your problem!? If you had a leak somewhere you should be able to hear it!

I still think it's something connected with electronics of the car. In my case O2 sensor was the most probable cause for hesitation and for now it has gone away
