Hope those Prodrive mounts are nice and solid.. not much clearance..

Pic of bumper and lights show what an improvement they are over old..

I like the formica wood effect router template for the spacers.

I think I might need some spacers, and about 20mm chopped off the top of the throttle body.

Thumbs up

David,

Well done in getting the 6 speed in.

Knowing you though you'll get bored and decide on doing your own DIY gearbox. Say a 7 or 8 speed to get you to 200mph.

Damian.

Think the odbc errors occur when someone makes a post that starts a new page then deletes it. So the database still thinks there's an extra page when there isn't! As soon as a new post is made the problem is solved That's my guess anyway!

Nice job with the 6-speed, I'd love one for my classic with ratios like the type-RA up to 5th plus a nice cruising 6th similar to the UK car's 5th. Best of both worlds, pity I've got neither the dosh nor the mechanical know-how to do it though

Just thinking....The gearbox looks very tight in the tunnel. Will the box lift up enough to allow the engine/mounts to slide into place?? or will the engine have to go in first, followed by the box from below ???
If you have a block assembly ( incl flywheel and clutch ) lying about, it may be worth checking as it will be a lot easier maneuvered than a complete engine.
