New Engine / DriveTrain Project
David,
I just sees your post count, about 2 months ago I swear you only had 1000 more than me or summint.
Where the **** are you posting?
When the **** do you have the time?
Or are you just a L33T HaXo0R?
Paul

why do we get odbc errors in this thread that disappear with one more post, like this..
Think the odbc errors occur when someone makes a post that starts a new page then deletes it. So the database still thinks there's an extra page when there isn't! As soon as a new post is made the problem is solved
That's my guess anyway!
Nice job with the 6-speed, I'd love one for my classic with ratios like the type-RA up to 5th plus a nice cruising 6th similar to the UK car's 5th. Best of both worlds, pity I've got neither the dosh nor the mechanical know-how to do it though

Just thinking....The gearbox looks very tight in the tunnel. Will the box lift up enough to allow the engine/mounts to slide into place?? or will the engine have to go in first, followed by the box from below ???
If you have a block assembly ( incl flywheel and clutch ) lying about, it may be worth checking as it will be a lot easier maneuvered than a complete engine.
