Did you put it on the scales?! thats a bohemouth!?! is it an alloy box/bell housing?
wonder if anyones gone the otherway to a small 4speed (ok it would make the car a little more undriveable day to day ) but could save weight

Nice work David
RE your coil over needs, why don't you contact leda, show them this thread and go after a fat discount in exchange for some 'sticker' space on your wagon?. I'm sure it would suit them for future adverts, I can picture it now..."Chasing 200mph takes ultimate control", written above a nice action shot of your wagon.. might be worth a try?

Brilliant stuff David, I've never really went into the Projects pages but excellent work! Great photos.
It took me 5 years to rebuild my Mini which is a simple little car (with a Haynes manual).
How do you find the time????
You should get some of this stuff into a magazine, better than most of the crap that makes it into print and is all being done as a home build, not some 'money no object' project that is published. How do you do it without a workshop manual?
Keep up the good work, proof of how good the Scoobynet is!!
How far away are you from putting it on the road?

Just a thought, but has anyone looked into barrel throttle bodies on a scoob to replace the standard butterfly? I can't see fly by wire giving any real benefit if it's controlling the same butterfly...
Got to be good for airflow, hasn't it?
