Yes Do you believe that to be accurate? I know people were saying one lane was faster than the other I know you were hitting the limiter but that seems suspect

Simon, many options on FMIC - speak to David/Steven before you do anything as they know a little bit .

Cheers,

AFAIK (but will let David say for sure - if he wants!) that the damage was really really minor. the extinguisher (sp?) made things look bad, but infact it was just a split hose, a bit of singed wire and a bit of a melted underside of the filter. he had it all up and running again in a day - so cant of been that bad!
(what am I saying - he built the majority of the car in a day !! :P )

The car is not up and running as yet.. damage is slightly more than i thought initally.. and looks like turbo may need to come off to sort some bits that live under there..

Besides I have a few tricks up my sleeve yet... now where are those washing machine spares..

Car was winched onto my mates trailer (LegacyTurbs) and then towed home.. I just jet washed it yesterday.. and also the headers..

Anyone else I would probably laugh at them and say yeah right what ever!

Hope that it is not too much work to get it all sorted for you!

David,
my appologies I didnt realise it was trailered !
shame about the extra damage...but I bet it's nothing that cant be fixed easily with one of those bottles standing around the place & that special tool - stella !!
hope the 'extra sleeve' gets fitted ok !
