I can picture it now parked in the garage in bubble wrap
That does not sound like david to me

I can picture it being thrashed to within an inch of it's life "to see EXACTLY what it IS capable of"

A mix I think!

Thrash it to get the maximum out of it and then wind it back a bit for normal use ... if this beast can be called normal! { The car, not David! }

I wanna know when the toe bar goes on the wagon for the auxillary petrol tank ... like 28 tonne Optimax tanker with Millers or NF added by metered dosing pumps from an attached bowser! May just need it, looking at those hoses and number of pumps!

BFH <Doom speak>
Big Fooking Hose..

Car is looking good David.. I know it will be thrashed beyond it's life.. stripped and rebuilt

Hope my visit didn't delay you to much!
That air filter looks bigger than in the photo's! how you are going to fit that under the bonnet I dunno

Car behaved itself all the way home except after sitting in traffic.. heat again... strange very strange..

Thanks again

So THAT'S what the F stands for in the BFG { Doom & Quake games } and I thought it was friendly!

Yeah, those are big hoses, 6 mm or was that 8 mm internal diameter, and all those pumps and filters... maybe David W. is going into petrol sales?

simon odd.

would get thrashed within a mm of its life but the bill scares me...

then again that will go out of the window when im behind the wheel..

Rob.. two walbaro's in tank fill 2 gallon ish surge / fuel tank

and then two bosch 044's iirc empty it and supply each rail feeding back to a modified sx perf regulator which feeds back to main tank.. surge tank also returns to main tank.

Do you know the couple of times I have ended up starting down the wrong side of a gun barrel I never once thought "That guns looks friendly" LOL..

You'll have to staple the bill to the steering wheel..

RE: Fuel Filters..
Erm I think so..
4 Fuel Pumps.. 4 Filters.. 6 if you include the two in the tank..
two walbaro's in tank fill 2 gallon ish surge / fuel tank and then two bosch 044's iirc empty it and supply each rail feeding back to a modified sx perf regulator which feeds back to main tank.. surge tank also returns to main tank.
So thats 2 pumps / filters not accounted for ... the 2 in the tank ... ??

{whisper you haven't mentioned the NOx yet! Where is that going to be plumbed in??}

nice work David

from memory we almost had to tie wrap that hose into position on the last effort.

Would be easier with the later manifold, as the thottle body sits a good 30mm further back.

Thumbs up

I had the same problem - just relocate a single fan in the middle of the radiator. Worked for me my single fan cuts in at 88C and the max temp I recorded on my ECU on Sunday was 90C

You're geting good at that alloy welding !

I'm using a single OE fan, you can use the original rad mounts if you drill new holes in the fan shroud to match

So whats the inlet mod then David ? RA inlet with a extra large throttle body fitted to your quality weld job?
I noticed that it points down slightly now - to make sure it fits under the bonnnet i guess.
