I have however had a message on my answer phone saying the police have some information for me. She will ring me this evening when she is back on shift

Compare this to DG staking out Knowlesy's house for 3 days because a neighbour had complained about his loud exhaust

 

I was very tempted to mention that in my letter to the Chief Constable but didn't want to agreviate the situation.

Perhaps I will keep that one up my sleeve
