Black ops are just military killing machines. CIAs are James Bonds. You be the judge 006.

Katana - I see that "The letter was neatly printed on lined paper and included a number of grammatical errors, including sentence fragments and misspellings" - looks like it's a scoobynetter

Cool

I can see the news now - "Super_si arrested on sniper charges - police unsure of whether he worked alone. Mr Footlong is currently being questioned as an accomplice".

All this "CIA/police/military" stuff is just theorising bollocks. £10 says the guys is a disgruntled redneck from middle-America who's decided to make a name for himself.

Wonder how the NRA are going to defend this one, though.

With their usual 'guns don't kill people, people kill people' argument that they've used for that past 100 years probably.

The sniper is some white trash scumbag with a chip on his shoulder and a bit of rifle training, that's all. I doubt he's a military-trained sniper as every hit would've been a kill. And he uses .223 ammo not Lapua .338 so that rules out Counter-Strike as a motive

The "your children" quote could refer to all americans, as in "we are all children of god" type stuff and not specifically youngsters. Would seem apt if the perp is a terrorist.

How many people normally die in traffic accidents in DC? Now they are panicking about 10 deaths in a fortnight

How many people normally die in traffic accidents in DC 2. By preventing people from going out the sniper may actually be saving lives. PS MarkO I demand my reward if the NRA uses this argument

Very 'Falling Down' in mentality.

As to who, hard to say - in America you can go shooting at your local gun club - she everyone can practice.

My mental profile is - white, 35-40, lower-middle class, with nihilistic tendencies. Divorced with no children. Loner who keep to himself. Probably had a diciplinarian upbringing.

I think I've watched Crimewatch too much!

He also has driven a Ford Mondeo, and the dealers have pushed him over the edge with their caring attitude.
