Canon D30 or D60 digital SLR cameras
#1
Q.
Anyone got either of these cameras ?
What do you think ?
Reason is i've got the EOS 10 SLR (about 10yrs old but still fantastic features)with a 35-105 usm and 100-300 usm lenses which are fantastic(and v.quick) so want to keep these for interchangeability.
I know the D30 is around £1450 with 256mb card ++ other extras from Jesopps currently and D60 body only around £1900..
Any comments appreciated.
Steve.

I can bore for England about Canon DSLRs...and several other topics, I'm told
I have a D30 (since Dec 2001, about 4000 images taken so far), which is generally fantastic. In some respects, it could be considered better than the D60, but there are limitations to both that you need to know about before spending that sort of money.
If you seriously want to know more, have a play with one with different lenses (inc one 'L' series), appreciate how much post-processing on the computer you might be letting yourself in for, then your more than welcome to drop round for an hour or so.
Let me know. Who knows - I might even have an immaculate s/h D30 available for a good price..I have a cunning plan to get a 1D some day you see!
