Car feels woolly ( unstable )
It would seem there made down to a price rather than quality. Anyway car is going to go back to the chap who built engine and he’s going to service it , balance and check wheels for trueness , then do a laser alignment and geometry set up for me. He also said he doesn’t use any whiteline stuff anymore as it’s become unreliable
it may well feel odd when cornering, etc but this is something totally different
what would cause the rear passenger wheel to have a huge camber ? It was about 1/4 - nearly 1/2 an inch off straight. Bottom of wheel was leaning out. ?
can't recall age of your car but generally speaking they have no factory rear camber adjustment as std (only tracking) so its either a bent hub // damage or its had rear camber bolts incorrecty fitted / adjusted??
have never touched suspension itself only arb and links. Like I’ve said previous I do live down a rough track although car isn’t used much it does have to go up and down it. Car has only done 51,000. Missus drives it quite a bit and there are some serious potholes on the A and B roads around us. I’m **** about avoiding them but couldn’t say about her ! lol
I think it was +\- 3.7 degrees and the opposite wheel was +\- 1.8 there was a difference I remember that. The fronts were ok on camber but were both facing to the right slightly. Which doesn’t explain car pulling to left !
So Ł800 later , we’ve had a full service , full geometry setup , mot and a rear wheel hub / bearing , wheels balanced and brakes stripped and cleaned. She feels great. Alignment was out on one side and was toe out which apparently is a no no with Subarus. Now I very slight toe in and all corrected.

very true. The tyre pressure was 43 fr and 40 rr. The mechanic thought I was off my head !! lol. He reduced it to 35 which he said it should be and he said it drive ok but has done full geometry anyway and toed in. He said the over pressure and tow out would have been a bad combination and would have tram lined bad. !
purchased direct from whiteline so I doubt it. Maybe just unlucky and there was a defect on it. Looking at the new ones which are steel and solid I can’t see how the whiteline with a small piece of machined alloy can be as strong really. Between thread and external wall is very thin. !
Im on superpro fronts ,will see how they rust.
Next maybe Your struts are shot or springs,my wrx was wobbly over 80mph ,first thing I did were bc racing coilovers
Mine porper steel whiteline below and super pro on the bottom
compare it to oem

tracking out, worn bush, dodgy tyre pressure or tread wear?? many things.....
I wouldn’t click on anything like that. Probably some sort of scam/virus or at the very least they’ll be getting paid per click. I’ve noticed a few different accounts doing the same thing the last few years. Not convinced there’s real people behind the accounts. There also appears to be a lot more bot accounts bringing up old topics for no reason with very generic replies. Perhaps somebody is trying to boost the numbers of the forum for some reason.
You were right !!
