The OP has already said it had been in the garage since 2017.... The logbook was last issued March 2017... (new owner probably)
Looking fwd to seeing pic of it out of garage!

After all, it is 30 years old. With the reg, you can go on the dvla website and do an mot history search to look for details. of any fails and advisories.... In fact I've just done it!
Thanks for that! Unfortunately the drivers door can only crack open a few inches, so not enough to get even the smallest of children through.

Yes correct, it's been stored in the garage since then. The person who purchased it was planning to export it to the USA but I guess didn't have the money to in the end and has just abandoned it.

Hmm.... You have no other option then but to reach for the can opener... ... But wait!.. Could you possibly gain entry through the boot?

I think with a coat hanger or similar and a little perseverance, the driver's door could be opened.....they are frameless windows so you can bend them enough to stick something in and hit the unlock button.

I may have missed it and someone has already suggested or not possible for whatever reason. But tow straps and pull it out using another car. It will only need to be moved a few meters.

I do have someone who has said they'll take it as is, and they have the equipment to tow it out and take it away, so that sounds like a sweet offer at the moment.
