If you could find a small child to squeeze inside to let off the handbrake put it in neutral and open the bonnet, then if the battery is flat, charge it up or put jump leads on to get enough volts into it to open the windows.. (DON'T TRY STARTING IT!!) then we'll all have a better idea of its condition. The superstructure is misleading as they rot something awful underneath so it could just be a scrapper anyway.... After all, it is 30 years old. With the reg, you can go on the dvla website and do an mot history search to look for details. of any fails and advisories.... In fact I've just done it!

Yes correct, it's been stored in the garage since then. The person who purchased it was planning to export it to the USA but I guess didn't have the money to in the end and has just abandoned it.

Hmm.... You have no other option then but to reach for the can opener... ... But wait!.. Could you possibly gain entry through the boot?

I may have missed it and someone has already suggested or not possible for whatever reason. But tow straps and pull it out using another car. It will only need to be moved a few meters.

I do have someone who has said they'll take it as is, and they have the equipment to tow it out and take it away, so that sounds like a sweet offer at the moment.
