Subaru Direct
Hi everyone, need some advice please.
I am considering buying a Subaru 2.5 WRX (2006 model) via the
Subaru Direct Scheme.
I am nervous that I will be buying blind, so to speak.
Have to pay for the vehicle before driving.
Has anyone else purchased this way.
Please advise, thanks

If it's the approved Subaru site when i spoke to my dealer that had a car i fancied with very low mileage he said the could ship it up for me to look at, But on further investigation it was one of Subaru's own cars that had been tracked and he didn't fancy selling it to me.

I bought a Legacy that way.
I only had to pay a deposit first, but I think you would need a decent reason to turn it down after they ship it to the dealer.
"It doesn't drive properly" is a good reason, "I don't want it any more" is not a good reason.
If you look at the pictures they show on the dealer "User Car" web site, the windscreens of some of these cars have some white writing on them. These are the recorded dents and scrapes etc. I suspect that they sort all of these out before shipping them to the dealers.
My 14 month old Legacy was mint when it arrived at the showroom, not a single mark. Absolute bargain as well.
