Having watched the documentary, I'm not sure it specifically contained accusations of rape against RB. It was more a case of highlighting behaviour that trod a fine line between the grossly ungentlemanly and the downright criminal. As for whether it should have been broadcast or not, if it had been a single accusation from just one person, I'd totally agree that it shouldn't. As it was though, what was presented was a long-standing and persistent pattern of behaviour on RB's part, but also a worrying pattern of turning a blind eye from those around him (which was as big a part of the documentary as RB's behaviour itself).

Let's not forget either that RB made a name for himself (and a very decent lliving) from cracking jokes about some pretty spurious bedroom practices. So if it now turns out that a lot of those jokes weren't entirely based on fiction, he's just reaping what he sowed IMO.

Pretty sure Carr's jokes never framed him as a first-person participant, whereas Brand's very much did.
