Can't we just settle it by putting Klitschco and Putin in the ring and see who is the last man standing?

Shall we just cut to the chase? You're biologically incapable of not taking every last sliver of an opportunity that presents itself to relativize and diminish what's going on in Ukraine.

We get it, you don't need to keep reminding us, over and over and over again.

Probably one of the most repugnant and terrifying things I've seen (apart from the actual atrocities) is Donald Trumps failure to criticise Putin.

Pootin and Trump, sounds like a toilet humour double act rather than world leaders.

already talking up crimes against humanity , yet no ones ever been prosecuted for invasions in the Middle East

Trump will say anything to stay in the limelight

Putins demands this morning don't seem to to be that unreasonable

If you want some sort of measure about who is at fault here.... Even the Swiss have imposed sanctions on Russia!

When the Swiss don't remain neutral in a conflict, then you know the blame is definitely one sided!

FIFA have banned Russia - Probably the most corrupt sporting body, which regularly fines players for making "political statements" has for probably the first time in its history gone all political!

Even in the UK, the Tory Oligarchs have turned against their financiers! Only Farage is left standing there like an idiot supporting his best mate!

This is not a conflict that is in the interest of the ruling classes in the western world! Putin is unhinged and nobody knows what he will do next! With his finger poised over the big red button and he might just be crazy enough to press it, the situation is not in the interest of anyone in the west!

I'll grant you wars in the middle east *may* have been more about oil and western business interests than counter terrorism, but this is very, very, different!

I wonder if they can do a deal to give up Crimea and the Donbas region to save the rest of Ukraine from being levelled.

Not a chance. That would represent failure to Putin. The bare minimum is everything up to the Dnieper river including Kyiv which gives him clear land access to Crimea and half of Ukraine. I don't think he would accept that either though he wants all of Ukraine under Russia's control and sit on Poland's border to threaten NATO. I think Moldova should be very worried too.

And i posted that link further up it's very good for the latest news which is far ahead of anything on UK TV.

Very poignant eh

We really need to ask

Who is really pulling the strings behind the scenes to get everyone involved in war / weapons use and production

the rich only benefit from chaos

Imagine , 100 years ago this 'war' would hardly have made the headlines

but because of Europe being part of America and NATO ( perceived Russia threat ) its non stop media assault

how many times has Russia launched an assault in fact - outside its borders

Let's pretend tomorrow Putin pulls out of Ukraine. Would all these companies that have cut ties go back tomorrow?
