yes I already knew what I wanted, post was just to make sure I havnt missed anything lol. Rs5 is 2dr only. Hence I do the like s5 but Quattro are very well capable but just no fun imo vs the m3.
maybe later when the new rs4 2.9 buturbo comes down in price may get one as I do like them and the smaller modern engine

Also, how much track driving can you do until the battery overheats?

Why could it not be a family car? Looks pretty practical to me, 4 doors and a big boot.

Never really understood the whole “when the mrs gets pregnant I have to buy a Skoda Yeti” brigade.

Going out on a limb here, it can only be a 2006 Toyota Prius (best MY to buy, as it has the revised high-flow heads).

I don’t know. We just had one at work the other day and I thought this is exactly the car some poor sod would be forced to have when his Mrs tramples on his ***** and makes him sell his performance car.

What about a golf R estate? with a £400 tuning box it will do 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.

We have one as the wife's car and our weekend family car. It's big, practical and so much fun to drive!

The model 3 performance is a better driving car than the latest BMW M3. That's what car reporters are saying. not me.

Obviously there is a recharging issue, so I don't know how many laps at full chat the car would do.

The battery heating is necessary for optimum performance. The Model S performance with ludicrous mode, needs to have the battery super heated for it to allow perform 2 second 0-60 accelerations

deffo a good contender, as I’ve pondered them, but I must say I do remember seeing these with the hazards on occasionally when first out on roads, guessing little bugs etc still, hence my original post ‘not sure’.
they are different and I know they are pretty good, but I suppose it’s a case of tried n tested probably edges it for me.

nice, but they look a bit wierd in the estate, I’ve had many estate cars now and to me these are not exactly ‘luxury ish’ to me. The wife has a practical family car so not hugely needed a estate again or I’d just save up for a 2.9 TT rs4 next if so,

how many miles has it got on it mate? reason being that once it hits 60k the warranty price will double. also pay for the warranty monthly as it never increases that way (i think)

is it the competition pack model?

thread revival lol.
sorry not been on here in ages.

yes I still have it, it’s a wonderful car, not in a rush to sell as it litterly does everything I need it to do.
it’s hard to replace for the price bracket, but eventually I will probably go with the f90 m5C but in no rush.
im stage 1 also so goes very well, running 18s also as I feel it drives a lot better and less rotational mass and more nimble imo. So have 2 sets.

great drivers car imo, hard to beat to keep your heart pumping, yet does the daily commute nicely 👌
