So, no new light on this car, one 2nd hand story from a guy who only could tell the car was repainted and he got a "bad feeling" and another saying it drove fine. So basically Im aware that this car most likely been smashed, but if its repaired alright its a bargain for 20k. If not its worth half that money but if its that bad then it would be fairly easy to spot.

Put your hand in your pocket and get an RAC Inspection. Post the results, we will see who is right

You can see from the pictures on the website, panel gap on left hand side of boot lid is bigger than the right hand side, bonnet shut line doesn't line up with drivers side wing, looks lower than passenger side above the headlights.
Fair play repairing it from the damage it had though.

You can roll a turd in glitter. But inside it is still a turd.

Look around at prices of similar cars and ask yourself this......does 21k for an almost new JDM STi with 3000 miles on it sound right? Seriously, why are you bothering? I don’t mean any offence by that, but you should listen to what people are saying. You seem to be chasing this car for whatever reason, I don’t get it. The price alone is enough to raise eyebrows.

He's not really chasing it, just armchair watching, if there was genuine interest he would have gone and had a look, or sent someone down for a nose. I imagine you could even call Motorhub and ask them for the VIN if you genuinely going to purchase a 20k car.

The VIN Chassis corresponds with the JDM version of HPI. Which part of "I went to view the car and etc etc" are you not getting?
Muppet.

So why has he not bothered to phone? They will either come clean about the car, or lie about it (as we have seen the report). I don’t understand the point in this thread anymore? He’s been told by people that have seen the car that it’s a heap, been shown the relevant documents etc but is still asking about it?

I agree - its kinda what I was saying, just go and see it if its still of interest after multiple people have shown thats a shed.
