iPhone 8
When you say 'very select group' are they few enough that you could type them out, because I don't believe that's the case, you'll be here a while. I can produce a very long list of people very, very happy with Apple's product replacement program, I doubt you'll be able to find more happy people with broken devices than Apple users. But we have you, whine on here in the remote hope that someone from Apple will notice and say they're sorry.
Look, what's your end game here? You live next to a ****ty access point or you were blatantly flipped off by an Apple employee. All I've seen is whining about one of those two things, you haven't started a thread where perhaps someone might help you, shown evidence of your quest for justice, you've for two years spammed this and every thread that contains the word Apple... you may as well be a bot.
You're still at it! There was a report this week saying that Apple could not do more to keep their devices going longer. Want to buy my 6+, it's obviously some sort of miracle device as it's still running great on iOS 11. Full reception and everything, not even bent much.

I’m going to try to fire mine up. Not first gen, 2nd’ish has the wheel but it’s capacitive. At the time it was enormous capacity. It’s firewire and I think I have a cable.
I still have my memory stick Walkman, that was excellent coupled with my Vaio, that’s worth a few quid I think. 128mb sticks were about £100 and I lost two!
I still have the first iPhone on my desk, the charging port got overly toasty but other than that it’s fine.

My bad, that should've said iPad.
Although I did have a first gen nano in the car, up until they were recalled due to what appears to be a very rare battery issue and was replaced with a refurbished 6th gen version (happy days).

These devices , however , don't receive /transmit !
out today with 6s - it was getting signal but upon calling number it produced the most bizzare sqeaks /beeping (and didn't connect )

Catagoric . software and hardware , halfway through night picked it up and flicked off wifi setting , and low behold had it working normally on 3g for half hour ( maybe its lying and is actaully using wifi) This is why i havnt thrown it in the sea , but crickey its frustrating for everyone
Have you actually tried speaking to your network provider?
We (me and several work colleagues) are all currently having similar issues to yours with EE. Phone says it's got a reasonable signal but as soon as you try and make a call/text it's having none of it (on a range of devices both Android and Apple). Turns out it's an issue with two local antennas interfering with each other but EE aren't interested in fixing it until they get a certain number of complaints.
I'm led to believe it can be persuaded to work if you fiddle with the modem settings on your phone (i.e. Disabling 4g) but I've never really tried.

I could try again , I know ee have had issues in past weeks with implementing 4g here
but a straight swop to another phone ( admittedly only a 3g phone ) comes up working ok
frankly I think the phone is cursed somehow

My phone does everything I need it to (other than missing the s pen of the note series) and lasts 3 days without needing a charge and is regarded as having the best smart phone battery life on the market.
Your stupid claim was that my phone was lacking hardware to make room for the 5100mah battery. That's utter boll0cks. I posted the specs and you had no reply to it.

Get a life.

There's only one poster on this thread who needs to get a life and it's you. Psychiatric help is what you need more than anything.
It's you that gets the same result every time you post on my threads, you end up looking a bit of a tit, but you just keep coming back. That's the first sign of madness right there, see you on my next thread time lord.
I took my Anker not very big battery camping in the summer, beautiful Annecy but I digress, it charged my phone and watch overnight, my iPad got an occasional top up, my e-*** thing was charged when needed. I could have gone four days without a plug, I didn't but I could have. Just with one £30 battery pack. Taking a charger if you're going to the middle of nowhere isn't difficult.
My laptop is a much bigger problem to keep charged but it's still has a pretty good battery.

Lol you make claims you can't back up you're the one looking a tit. You really do need help it's a shame the mods didn't keep you permanently banned for your own sake.
Your claim was that your phone has a bigger battery than the iPhone 8 lasts longer and does exactly the same, right? So show me your Taptic Engine, your 3D touch sensitive screen, your stereo speakers, want me to go on? All these things take space an power.
I hate dealing with children.
Iv got back up charger too , was more like 8 quid if i recall , but why should you even require it .
Like youve to pay a sizeable sum to apple if you want to keep iphone running through year 2 and 3
Wiley fox - 2 year included , plus TWENTY quid for year 3
