It isn't Apple's fault as they outsource all that technical stuff to a sweat shop in China, so if you need to blame anyone then blame the Chinese kids on a pound a day for screwing up

Technical stuff in a sweatshop? Hardly, they lick the screens super smooth in the sweatshop with a final polish on bare chests. Pound a day, luxury!

Donaldís a Fandroid.

Howís your phone? Mineís been excellent so far, such a great upgrade from the 6 and I suspect the pinnacle of its kind. Iím both very used to it and pleasantly surprised by it, iOS 11 is helping in that regard.

New replacement arrived didn’t get in till late , not long set it up , used the phone / phone set up option no probs at all . Software I noticed was up to iOS 11.3./ was 11.2 2 days ago so must be a quick bug or 2 fix
All is good

aha!! he finally admits Apple can make mistakes this time, unless Samsung have a say in how iOS is coded too; I bet Apple use some of their ex-coders

It's not the problems you have it's how you deal with them.

Updates to fast charging, donít hold your breath. You seem to think itís some glorious technical achievement when in reality itís meh.

More updates are on the way though, running 11.1 on my iPad, itís great getting updates.

would have thought a man of your wisdom would know charge time depends on a few factors, namely the capacity of the battery and charge current, lets break this video down into small bite sized chunks for you to slowly digest

The iPhone 8 Plus will have a 2,675mAh battery (according to the google), so much smaller that the Note 8 or any of the Androids mentioned.

Note 8 3,300mAh, uses adaptive fast charge which is showing its age with the newer tech out there (you listening Jack?)

one plus 5 3,300mAh uses dash charging, noticably quicker than Samsung

htc u11 3000mah uses Qualcomm 3.0 quick charge (soon 4.0 will be out)

If Apple were not screwing idiots off with lightning connectors for years and used USB connectors maybe they would be on the same page as everyone else now instead of playing catch up.

if anything the video shows how far behind Apple are with the times, considering the price of the product and the fact the battery is the smallest.

Unlike you Jack i am not brainwashed in Samsung, I think the Note 8 is too expensive for what it is and indeed I am looking at others like the U11 and maybe the P10+

Also Jack, Apple want to charge idiots more for a fast charger even after taking out a loan to buy the iphone in the first place.

Smaller battery, lasts just as long, incredible really, surprised you watched the keynote so carefully. Did you know that the iPhone 8 has a modem that’s capable of using frequencies nobody’s using? Mental I hear you say, but it has the lowest power consumption. Same goes for the charging in the iPhone 8, it too has technology no one is using, who knows why, maybe it’s the future.

You usually spout something about geekbench stats, but I guess you gave that game up. Leagues ahead I hear.
