Art.50 IS reversible.... But only on the EU-27 side i.e. they (ALL 27 member states?
) would have to agree to it.
The 'leaving state' doesn't have the power to reverse it. It's out of its hands.
So, rather like a dog with its tail between its legs, all the UK could request is, "Please EU, can we rejoin again...?"

So it seems she lied to the Queen as she did NOT have an agreement with DUP so was not in a position to form a government.
That's probably a capital offence or, at the very least, 10 years in the Tower on bread and water.
Take her down.

Someone with a bit of dosh needs to form a Party called "Get these ****wits out" and a broad mandate of getting out of Europe, rewarding folk who are willing to help themselves, not try to rip off those who find themselves in unfortunate circumstances and tell the work shy to go **** themselves !
Landslide should follow !

I'm surprised no one jumped on that one, would be ideal ammunition for a vote of no confidence.
ffs, election is done, cons won, labour came close but lost, now lets move on and sort brexit out without finding every potential loop hole to try to cause trouble and argue the case after its already done and dusted. That arguing is what has caused the pound to tank etc

My thoughts. Oddly enough my niece is marrying the son of a well known and senior Labour MP and they will be having a small luncheon party together this Wednesday. I've asked my sister to have a word in the MP's shell-like and suggest that be asks Corbyn to request a no confidence vote. I think it would be hard for Mr Speaker to refuse this and it just needs a few Tories to be out of town....... Watch this space

What a load of bollox! Is it dementia or stupidity? Or both?
As far as I know the party with the most votes asks the queen to form a government - That's all she did as far as we all know.
I suspect the Queen couldn't give a shiny ****e which plebs make up her government
Please follow the news, dl

The only question the queen asks is 'can you form a government'.
It's up to the opposition parties to vote 'no confidence', not the queen.

May told Queenie that she would be able to form a government with a majority when in fact she would have needed more support that she could count on. This was a deception. d

FFS of course even I understand it's not the Queen asking for vote. Don't treat me like the Alcazar or Peedee school boys

Where did I say anything about the queen asking for a vote Dave?
How can you possibly know what she told the queen?
If this was really a 'thing' then do you not think it would be front and centre of every news report, tabloid headline and social media feed.
It isn't, because it isn't a 'thing' at all.
The PM does not need a majority to form a government, and it's up to parliament what happens from there.
I think the poor dear has finally become hysterical...and I'm using the old old dictionary definition here.
Do I think it's OK to lie to the queen, David? Sure I do, being as I think the entire royal family are simply a bunch of scroungers who need to get proper jobs!
But TM didn't. Simple.

ASFAIK You don't need a majority to form a government - as Cons got the most votes she is entitled to go to the Queen 'first' and say she 'intends' to form a government...
If she can then not form a government she is happy with, or she fails a vote of no confidence then Lab as second placed can then also go to the Queen and form a Minority government.
