depends really,

i had issuse with two ip5s so moved to htc/android eventually the camera went purple on the htc...after that i went to a s6 been great but with the last couple updates started to slow down, to the point i had to alter the phone to speed it back up, then finally reset the full phone.

no doubt it was a good phone, but after only a yr use on a 2yr contract for things to be getting buggy is annoying, the battery life has deminished also.

now down to 20% end of day were it was 50% a couple months back, no change.

so ended my contract early, the phone is woth £190 which will pay off my three contract, for ref my mates ip6 is still worth £360 on music magpie.

we will see what the new phones like, tbh i dont think there that different, people just have opinions and are a bit blinkerd to what they own like the wrx/sti debate

ill be paying £35pm for the ip7 which is what im paying for the s6 right now.

Using a shiite charger from China in a device should not cause it to go up in smoke but clearly Apple being who they are want fanboys to purchase genuine Apple accessories thus lining the pockets of the company more.

I can use any charger in my galaxy device, genuine or a one I get in MBK in Bangkok for £2 and it won't go up in smoke.

Compared to the design flaw on the iphone 6 which Apple are fleecing off fanboys to repair at least Samsung offered a free replacement product in the S7 series.

I still love my 6+ it's the best iPhone I've ever owned, never been any trouble and still an all day device for me. Very tempted by the 7+ and am running out of excuses.

My 6s doesn't do anything in day to day use that my 5 couldn't. I only upgraded as my 4 year old used and abused 5 decided that it must reboot randomly 2 or 3 times a day.

 

I want a new camera and the rest is a bonus. Resale value of my 6+ will drop over this year too.

I had a hard enough time opting for the 6s over another 5/5s although the slightly bigger screen swayed it for me.

 

The obvious bits, brighter, faster, lighter. Force touch and Taptic will be nice to have, pretty sure there's more hardware I don't have too. It's shiny.

I've just sold my 3 year old 6 (for a great price) and have a 6s and a brand new 7 in front of me just now. The 7 is a decent jump from the 6, but there's not much between the 7 and the 6s - probably because the 6s was so good to begin with

I'm quite likely going to be deliberating until the 7s is out, 6s is the first s I've missed and they've always been an excellent upgrade.

 

I am not a whiney tit, the whole thing Jack is that Apple are not any better or worse than any other products or devices and in most cases they are over priced for what you get and the owners for some reason or another are hooked into believing they are superior over others.

You cleary tick all the boxes in this aspect as can be aptly demonstrated in your rambling posts here.

well my 7 came, got it all working last night

first impressions

like the fact that i type what i press, the kebords better

dislike the lack of back button, the fact you cant place icons where u want them

the home button is vwry different with that strange touch thing.

screens a tad smaller than the s6 but not much.

will play more once my number goes across.

id lost all my itunes purchase, but quick online chat to apple and they were all back

Well I'm an Apple fan boy, love my Mackbook Air think it's 5yrs and counting, not one single problem in that time, been tempted by Iphones a few times but just can't justify the £600+ cost, do like shiny things though guess I'll just have to stick with my version 2 Moto G dual sim, cost me about £130 sim free, at Stanstead a couple of years ago and still going strong.

P.S, I never accept updates because in my experience they just screw up my device, why change if I'm happy.

Now, what does that tell you?* Let me help, Apple don't believe it's a good idea to trust the charging of your device to any drunken Amazon purchase. Try to tell me that using all third party charging devices is a good idea and I'll line up a full pie for you.

Would it be convenient?* Yes that's obvious, but sometimes safety trumps convenience and you're far more likely to charge your Watch next to your head. It even has a Nightstand mode which is glorious I have to say.
