Apple are not great at upgrades either mind you.

classic eh.
You know why people snap them up? Because they work, and carry on working. My old Mum is using a 6 year old iPad 2 that's running the latest software, that's a pipe dream for Samsung devices, I'll take that over fast or wireless charging.

Depending on what scores you are looking at, in most multi core tests the Exynos models destroy what Apple offers, plus you need to keep in mind the hardware tech inside the Samsung is much greater than whats in a Iphone and it has a screen with much greater resolution and detail to deal with also.

Apples hardware is much less demanding so the software is always going to be relatively good, for what it is.

and Android devices dont work? My missus uses my Nexus tablet when she is not on her Iphone and that is about 4 years old.
Android updates are freely available across multitude or platforms and you can always root Android devices to install custom roms, alien talk to Apple users.

You are deluded, enjoy your out dated Apple stuff there. They will always be making underwhelming products as long as they have suckers to buy them, like you.

So you have to hack your device to update it, exposing it to all sorts of threats, sounds great. And I'd love to do a side by side comparison of your tablet and my Mum's. I doubt anything works and the security will be shocking. You crack on, enjoy your device and try not to slag off others unless you're enjoying the custard pie in your face.

wont waste time with an apple fan boy no more, clearly tech specs is beyond you. Things like screen resolution. The Galaxy Note with its 2560x1440 @ 518ppi density has much more rendering to do over an Iphone with its ancient relic of a 750p screen @ 326ppi density.

Enjoy the new 'outdated before its released' IPhone later this year anyway, Apple need people like you to keep them going.

no lying down with ya is there.

Android is more open source than Apple ever will be, thats why many people buy them. You might even be smart enough to know you dont have to hack Androids to get the latest versions installed either OTA or with Odin , but i doubt it.

http://anewworldsociety.ning.com/pro...bout-apple-inc

IPhone 6 users, welcome to 2012 indeed. Like the poster who previously postponed a potential purchse based on Apple releasing curved displays in 2017, which Samsung have released on devices in 2015 and have been in R&D since long before that.

You think you know everything, like most Apple fan boys. The harsh reality is that Apple are a company rich from ripping off people year in year out and locking them into their own little eco system world.

No comment on the video?? Too much custard in your eyes Fandroid??

Specs mean nothing, real world performance is where it's at and a two year old iPhone trounces the latest Samsung.

As for your link, try reading it. Nothing to do with Apple unless they bought snapchat while I wasn't looking.

Root!! Odin!!! WTF are they?? I just press the update button.

already made a comment, like i said specsavers.

try reading the link again, you can see the fantastic iPhone 6 has stuff launched on an Android based Nexus from 2012. Also comments from actual workers at Apple. 2 year old IPhone with technology years outdated, widgets on the iphone 6... whooot

There are some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's Apple fanboys.

Specsavers, not sure I get it. The video showed an old about to be replaced iPhone beating every available Android based device in real world tests and your answer is Specsavers?? Odd.

i sympathise with you, being a devout Apple fanboy i doubt there is much you do get

There is a good article in the link above (if your browser of sorts supports it). Quite dated (like Apple hardware) but the same ethos and practise applies.

The Truth About Apple Inc.

http://www.garagegames.com/community...wthread/126926

carry on now. Better make arrangements for the next IPhone purchase, I believe people Q up for these devices over night.

If my browser supports it? You mean my webkit based browser developed by Apple and given to the world as open source, the one you use on your Android device

You really should lick that pie off your face and crawl back under a rock, you're embarrassing yourself.

I won't be buying another iPhone for at least another year, the quality of iPhones and their frankly amazing performance - see the video you're trying to ignore - means I can go 3 years without another purchase, total cost of ownership is very low. Shame on you Apple for making such long lasting devices and supporting them by providing the latest software.

Is it buying a Samsung that gives you a pathalogical lead to extol it's virtues to any Apple users that will (not) listen? I figured it was Android generally but I've had a HTC for a couple of years now and not once have i felt compelled to rant at anyone about how it's better than the iPhone.

funy man you are eh. My co worker was raving about my Note 5 and google now, he said he was impressed with it so much he needs google on his iPhone.

you are a showing yourself to be not exactly that man of wisdom that you think you are. You are saying Apple developed the google browser, on your nelly son. More like it was later ported to Apple to give the fan boys a sense of what the real world is like away from their own enclosed space.

try siri for help, doubt siri will know anything on ancient 750P screens that Apple use or explain the specifics the much more intensive processing and rendering that Galaxy Phones need to do on screens that are much much higher resolution, hence effecting benchmarks as opposed to rendering 'widgets' on 750p screens on the Apple IPhone 6.

In any event i clearly posted a photo a while back showing multi thread tasks on devices and the IPhone was lagging way beyond the others. alien to you, but being an Apple user its of no surprise to anyone.

Stuck up people like you devoted to Apple is what is keeping them from going under, lets see how pathetic the new IPhone device is later this year and it will no doubt cost a kings ransom.

IPhone users wont listen, nothing is better than an Iphone, despite how bad or outdated or over priced it may be.

Luckily for your friend he can run Google apps on his iPhone, how cool is that. I use their apps all the time and they're great, love Google and occasionally work for them.

As for your photo, what does it mean, let me help, it means in some tests you can create a graph that shows bigger numbers than on an iPhone, that's it. In real terms it's meaningless, if you want to see real, wipe the pie from your eyes and watch the video I posted. Your phone is trounced by a phone with much smaller numbers... how can that be possible??

What you have is a 80's Lada with a V8 engine... rubbish.

Not really true, earlier before you turned full fanboy I posted that I really liked the new Samsung screens. I can't wait until Apple decides that they can develop software and hardware good enough to drive the same, right now that's not possible and the video I posted demonstrates that.

They aren't far wrong, most top end smart phones these days are much of a muchness as far as the average user is concerned.

Was an Apple fan boi since the iPhone first launched. Got an iPhone 6 when it was released, waited months for a jailbreak, got fed up waiting for a team to release a working jb so gave it to my son.

Went and purchased a Nexus 6P. Eats all iPhonings for breakfast, luncheon and dinner!

Apple are no longer brining anything new to the table, and the fact that they are so protective over their iOS means that for a power user such as myself, without a working jailbreak iOS is somewhat 'limited'.

Of course with a pure Android phone such as the 6P. I can do what the hell I want with it.

Dozza, really interested in what makes a Power User? What am I missing?

Oh and your link seems to be just a list of specs and I totally agree, lots of Android based devices have bigger numbers but that's a bit like saying a 1936 Cubit car is better than a Ferrari LaFerrari because it has a bigger engine capacity and more doors and seats, I posted a real world live test above, can you comment on that?

As for nothing new, what about force touch, I know it's over a year old but your Nexus doesn't have it and likely will at a later date.

True that, a second hand iPhone of the same age and purchase price as an Android based device is worth twice as much.
