It's an eeprom soic8 chip. It's an 93LC66BI chip in mine. You'll need that for the drop down menus in the software that comes with the reader.
Buy the reader and an 8 pin clip that you clip onto the chip on the angle sensor.

You need to clip the 8 pin clip to the chip on the sensor as shown in the pic.
Then with the correct options selected you should be able to read the chip.
You'll be presented with various lines of code.
You'll need to change the a5a55a5a data to ffffffff and upload the corrected version back to the chip.
That fixed it for me and its now working fine, no faults on the DCCD module.
You now have all the info required to be able to rectify it if it's the same problem I had.
Just be cautious and save the original code from the chip before you change it.

My issue is a bit different in that following the 15+ rack install (which was an awesome mod to the GR chassis) the stability control is not calibrated properly as the steering angle being sent is wrong since the ratio changed.
Fortunately it's rarely an issue in practice, just on tight roundabouts.
