the Owens turbo uses the turbo dynamics litchfield used lm450 back housing
The turbo is more of a twin entry
the lads say I would gain 750 to 1k powerband with the sc42 billet
bit it makes little sense as I’ll be going back same time next year for a 2.35
ill gain spool through extra engine capacity and have a bomb proof bottom end in process

Is it the 95 Ron fuel?
It maybe the turbo and a simple swap would improve it. But even bringing everything 1k earlier with a new turbo would be disappointing tbh.

What was the cause of the debris in the fuel tank?

Unfortunatley its not possible to defy the physics. Id much prefer to see the hatch making the power lower down the rev range. But on this turbo it doesnt seem possible to get it any sooner, even with VVT tweaks in the syvecs. Its pretty much at the best it can be but tbh, when it hits, it hits hard!

Remember this is all on standard jdm motor, no forged 2.1 or any wilder cams like most others. Id say its doing pretty well on 95 to break 420bhp never mind 470 with a splash of Ethanol!

Main objective was to get it all working right.... adding a few features and sensors to try and preserve the set up. A few more bits to set up and shes in for valet then back to ireland once were happy that shes done.

no wonder the forum is slowing down with people like that on board, the constant negative comments are simply boring now but yet the mods seem to accept it and let him carry on..............shame

Indeed they have, they resurrected a car that had been butchered by a number of people. Its a wonder the engine mechanicals survived.

470 on basically a lm450 on 95 ron is very acceptable.
