£30k, buy a decent 996 Turbo Steve.

Bullet proof engines, never driven a standard one but with and exhaust and map (easy 500bhp) they go like stink.

There's a nice low mileage 996 turbo at hurst cars for about £25k been on there a while though so not sure if it's still for sale.

Steve we had a 997 4S Cab, fantastic note from the Sports Exhaust and oodles of grip. Tyres on the rear were crazy wide, 305.
