You really are a sad little man. You say you do it to get a rise out of the stupid, when in fact, all you are doing is trying to belittle everyone. That's the sad fact.
The op didn't come on here saying that his car is the fastest. He said that his 1280kg sti with 300bhp beat a 1400kg + RS with 300bhp. Old or not, the sti has power to weight ratio advantage and always will have in standard trim.
I really don't get what your problem is.
I have come to the conclusion that he's just an idiot with nothing better to do than come on here and put peoples cars down, he seems to be under the impression that we are all somehow impressed by his behaviour.
I have decided to just blank him and not feed the troll in the hope that he goes away, may I suggest yourself and others do the same, I'm just sick of him coming out with the same old tripe thread after thread and spoiling things for everyone, it's boring.
What turbo are you running buddy , I've got a 8mr here with a nice fresh forged lump in it......contemplating what to do with it
Lol you are probably on the MLR too then?
I am running a Turbo Technics S205 - It can be laggy, but I have anti-lag to help out with that! Currently only boosting 1.8 bar, but I believe the turbo will max out at 2.2 bar?
As said before its the whole package and what you use the car for
That's why the RS's wins hands down
That's only in your opinion, as I have said I would pick a Scooby over the RS all day long. My blob is quicker in a straight line, around the twisties, on track, sounds nicer and has more doors to get my family in when using my car not the wife's. So for me it's the scooby that wins hands down.
Standard subaru around 300 after tweek would destroy a focus 2wd rs 1.2.3 trq steer so there is 200bhp gone u racing 100bhp upto3rd gear my van would beat 1 lolol
Oh no, you been using kevlar pads in them. Shame on you
Ive never found the perfect pad for the standard Subaru Brembo's, I just assumed you want a decent set of brakes on a Impreza you need to spend £1.5-2k on a set of AP 6 pots to stop the bugger!!

You havnt searched hard enough for a good combo then, the Brembos are very capable albeit a bit heavy.
A nice boy i know took me for a ride in his 400bhp RS and it felt like it could stop a freight train on standard brakes with uprated pads. I also was lucky enough for him to let me have a drive when the car was completely standard and although he would only let me drive within the speed limit plus a bit, the brakes felt good.
Obviously not as good as my P1, but you know, what is.
do you find your new brakes better than the brembos though?
They don't have any more stopping ability as that's limited by tyre adhesion eventually, what they do give is greater repeatability due to their increased cooling ability. Maybe that's not such a big deal on the road, but it's very handy on track. Having said that, I never really reached the point with the brembos where they became unreliable on track because I chickened out after about 5 laps when I felt they were starting to fade
Having bigger brakes also means you have to work a little harder at getting them up to temperature, but they are very effective - which is nice!
