so if matt and his mate are correct the car was bought ready modded so surely it cant be same car
so either someone is making stuff up to suit the argument or its not the same car

I usually change just before I hit the limiter around 7500 and whenever I've had a quick look at the dash it reads just over 60 which means around 58 gps speed due to my MPH reading being slightly out.

Yeah UK, I just wish I'd done my research before buying and got a JDM V-Limited WRX.

(Maybe my speedo is out but I'm pretty sure its not)

Its like the evo fq400 being unbearable to live with but it you get the fq360 its more everyday and with a tune,faster!

They dont5 work over about 40mph just a sad face. I think it would encourage people to go fast if they showed you a proper read out lol

Actually you're wrong. A 225/40/18 will read less than 2% lower than the original wheel/tyre combination. This would mean he would have slightly more profile than you have

Looks like we've all got bad driving techniques.
With the weight saving I've done, removal of parasitics and mods to reduce rotational mass, I should be bettering my 32.5 mpg average by a long way.
Has anyone noticed a MPG improvement from fitting a lightweight flywheel? I know there's less work for the engine but there's also the fact revs drop quicker and the crank may loose a bit of momentum when cruising on and off light throttle?

On the Audi A2 forums they don't ever seem to be getting the 70 odd MPG Audi claim, mid 50's seems to be the norm.
I suppose when they test cars it's done on even ground in idyllic conditions. That's why I did 40mpg on a sunny day on a flat quiet back road to Bridlington.
