I remember you, Glenn and me at Scooby Clinic on Fri, 16 Sep 2011 (christ, don't time fly!) - all getting our cars mapped by Simon. I remember us being all very happy with our results, etc. Plus, having a right laugh in the meantime.
It's just so, so sad...... And not fair.

I never met Simon but he was always available to give good advice, to say it's gutting to hear of this news is an understatement.
My deepest condolences to Simon's family and friends.
The best are always taken too soon.

So sad to hear this. As has been said many times already Simon was a great bloke and at the top of his trade. He mapped my car loads even meeting me at work on numerous occasions to take a spin around Reigate and iron out snags. We always had a laugh. Just reading some txts we exchanged recently when he was helping me buy a new car by offering advice on those id seen. Such a nice guy actually welling up now... Thoughts to his family. RIP Simon

I just spotted this on ESL's page over at FB. I have not signed in here for years regularly but thought Id post here to say RIP Simon. He helped me here many times during my Subaru ownership. Truly a genuine chap who never got involved with any scoobynet arguments or crap. You could always rely on Simon for an honest and informed reply. RIP mucker. Thanks for all your help in the past and I hope you have some fast wheels up there.

Have to say this news shocked me today too because I hadn't been on facebook for months and I didn't realise that he was ill again with cancer let alone that things were that bad
RIP Simon you'll certainly be missed by the whole Subaru community and we have lost one of the most knowledgeable and best mappers
