We met several times after I brought one of your old engines for mapping and spoke many a time on facebook chat. I spoke with you only last Wednesday and you told me then that this is it and it was just a matter of time but you didn't know how long. I have to say goodbye to one of the most respected and genuine mappers in the country. RIP mate

This is shocking news, always there to help people if he could, he mapped my sub on a number of times last year, I never really wanted to trust anyone else with it apart from Simon.
Now I have the spec c I was looking forward to him plying his trade once again but I guess its not going to be.
I spoke to Simon on a number of occasion when he was ill last year and he was still willing help out when he could.
He will be truly missed and my deepest sympathy go to his family.

**** I cannot believe this.....honestly shocked.
He was a local chap to me and remember when he was first starting to go on his own and we mapped my type R....again using the m20 as a test area.
Gutted...
Makes you think about stuff doesn't
Truly upset..

I've just re-read my txt conversation with Simon. The guy was so helpful, caring and friendly and I thank him for that. I can see he treated us all the same from all your comments. R.I.P Simon, you will be sadly missed and I hope you are now in a happier place.Deepest sympathy to friends and family. True Subaru Guru

Very surprised to read this, I've never dealt with Simon but he has mapped the Subaru I've recently bought. He will be greatly missed in the Subaru community for sure. Deepest condolences to Simons family and friends.
RIP Simon Roe.

What?!!!
I can't actually properly take in what I'm reading! Gutted ain't the word.
Top gentleman. Helped me no end via emails/PMs and mapped my Imprezas on 4 or 5 separate occasions. Love his maps.
This truly awful news has genuinely knocked the wind from my sails.
My heart goes out to his poor family. God knows what his wife is going through.
Just can't believe it.
