Well I get fed up with the ads. I am sure they bring in net returns but I find them depressing and an imposition on my time.
Millions must see them and nearly everyone has a depressing cancer story or is worried that they have, or will get, cancer so I find them depressing. Many will know someone who currently has cancer.
I scribbled down a spoof ad which basically starts with the big C and goes on to quote a family where so many members had the big C or were likely to get it. Most just had C in the head o
It ends with a statement that research for a cure is on going with a picture of a laboratory. In the lab is a cage with half a dozen mice, some of whom are upside down on the floor obviously dead. The others are looking miserable and half lost in a large cloth.
The spoof ends with a serious voice saying "We will find a solution one day to the common Cold".

Why?
And what's with the huge long TV advert about how we are beating cancer? Is THAT what I give money to them for? To pay advertising fees on TV?
I'm also upset to see so much about how we are winning, when I have lost friends to cancer....only ONE person I know survived.

I wonder myself where all the donations go.
my dad has it and its spreading, hes 81, so im coll with the fact if it wasnt that itll be something else at that age.
Ive been to christies myself with him, its absolutely hammered airport terminal style busy.
Personally speaking im convinced there are cures for this in the natural living things around us.
I also think if nobody smoked, the govt's wouldn't get the tax, the drug companies would make the money that they do.
So its in all their interests to prolong it as much as we can.
And yes im sick of the over 60 death benefit get a free pen for a no obligation donkey sanctuary quote adverts as well.
