UKIP are strongest in white British areas and not doing so well in London for example. London has a lot of diversity and the majority of London's population isn't British . This is having an effect (in a small way) on the way this country is governed/run . It is not just relative to UKIP London is the capital and it seems to be the case that the biggest influence to our politics in London is coming from non British. This also extends to other areas where the majority is not British.
Before you think iam just another racist , IAM NOT. I think this may have a positive effect on the country and stop the effects of a stale opinion. I think it can bring a new perspective and allow us to see things from a different point of view.
Just something I saw on the BBC vote 2014 that got me thinking.

O.k I've just had another look at my post and have seen my mistake. I made reference to white British then said the majority of London are not British. I should of said the majority of London is non WHITE British.
The thing is though, I believe you know what I was saying and this is not really relevant to the point that I was making. The majority of London is NOT white British and this has an effect on political results .
This is what the BBC said, they may have worded it a little better than I have but the end point is the same.
Martin please don't start to rip my post to bits so you can get a kick from trying to belittle or embarrass me . Why don't you try to engage your self in the debate rather than nitpicking at others posts?
NO ONE LIKES A SMART ****.

Chris – if you post up something as ‘fact’, that isn’t even close to being a true, then it’s hardly knit picking is it? I’m not trying to embarrass anyone; I’m trying to make sure this debate is about fact not myth

Did he not read my post bout Doncaster..?
If you're reaching for colour division and people not ethnically white Caucasian, I think you'll find 2nd and 3rd. Generation British adoptees are just as if not more keen to choke off immigration, from everywhere

Ukip are going to launch their general election manifesto in Doncaster ie Millipede's constituency.
This is going to be a very interesting election no matter what the result. As I'm quite right of centre I actually identify with some of ukip's ideology. My biggest issue with ukip is whether people like me who are actually right of centre will vote for them and then allow Labour in by the back door.

It's fun watching the 'leaders' of the two main parties and that minority soon to be wiped out party squirming over UKIP
Party leaders respond to UKIP and rise of anti EU sentiment
Cameron especially seems to have come up with a whole new rhetoric overnight, I wonder why?

I feel embarrassed for them sometimes, I want to look away when it gets really bad but find their lies and fake approach trying to connect with us mesmerizing. Have you seen how bellend sorry millipede uses his hands to try an engage with us.. I can see him know having is lessons. Push your hands out then when you get to your big moment bring them back in as if your bring the electors back in with you. And don't forget, pause just before the big moment, and then deliver your wining line while you thrust your fist in the air and just wait for your applause. Clegg does this as well, they must think were stupid, well I suppose those who vote for them are.
To try and save this post from nothing more than a rant I would like to ask a question. How many think that when people originally voted to be in the EU they thought it would be like this? I've seen a few of the original voters in TV interviews recently saying how this is not what they voted for, they voted for fair trade agreements and that's about it.
Please don't ask for the facts Martin its just how I saw it on TV, I could be wrong.
Ha, just turned the channel to 4 for the news and their talking about how the three main party talk to people. THIS IS A MUST SEE.

To answer your question I would say that not very many voted for a political union.
The EU has evolved into what it is today without any real democratic consent from the populus. This is why I support us having a referendum.
For me the big question is not what the EU is today, but what it could be?
If I thought that it would not change for the better I would vote for us to leave. On the other hand, I genuinely believe in the principle of collaboration and pooled ecomomic and political strength, especially in our changing and increasingly globabised economic environment.
This question should not be left in the hands of the idologues, it has to be a pragmatic answer to the question of, what is in the best long-term interest of the UK

Its interesting to see how the Tory's for example are changing their tune. Cameron has been saying today that we need to get back to the basics and not let the EU be so controlling.

To be fair he isn't changing his tune he has said that for years. The problem is he hasn't actually done anything about it.

The EU project was all about building a United States of Europe, with "ever closer Union" (stated in the Treaty of Rome) and the abolition of the nation states. What you see today is the progress of that project, anything else is just window dressing. Its why the Euro disaster is continued being supported, its why Barrasso is proposing greater fiscal union for (Euro) member states, its why the Ukraine was courted, its why the foreign service under Ashton was set up, its why the Euro army and police force are being set up.
All the claptrap you hear from the EU apologists is merely emperors new clothes drivel to get you to accept the removal of your sovereignty step by step to the EU. Luckily people are waking up to this at last.

This shows a fundamental ignorance of the history of the EU and the motives of its founder Monnet.

It's nice to see the EU is listening to the dissatisfaction of the people. They've already seen the error of their ways and are ready to change.
And our first example of how the EU is to reconnect with the feelings of the people, and allay the thoughts of the EU not listening is here:
EC asks Britain for another £500m
"We've heard the message from the electorateand ignored it as usual"
