Default Hatch back alarm chirp

Is there anyway to have a chirp when locking and unlocking the car ?

Don't think so. Book says Australia models only or something.

Works on my blobeye.


Today i learned i can make my car bleep when i lock and unlock it.

No more walking back to check its locked.

Use keypad down by your knee

Open car
Key in ignition on
Press 7
Key out
Lock
Beep

Different alarm on the Hatch onwards Sigma S32/34 (depending upon push button start or not)

To activate Arm/Disarm Indication Tones

*17856 *440 then #

Arm/Disarm Indication Tones - On/Off

*17856 *000 * 0 or * 1 then # where * 0 (off)

Yes you have an S32 alarm.

Check the base of the driverside B pillar where the VIN plate is.
You will find a sticker referencing the alarm

Will do.

I had a read at the book and it said Australia only (or may have been door open warning dings)

I did ask all these questions on the Hatch thread when i first got it but didn't get far lol.

I wanted alarm chirp activated , and door open dings switched off. Will get a look tomorrow.

S32, S34 same alarm "series S" (with the S34 you get new RADIO KEYS SO MAYBE FITTED TO THE NON KEYLESS ENTRY CARS)

I dont have that sticker and on manual online it says total closure by holdin button down but it dont work on my car :/

It worked !
It seems to be a long tone for locked , short tone for unlocked.

Don't suppose you know of a way to turn off the "door open" dings ? Won't be alarm related i imagine but you may know
