Default Brakes doing my head in....new pads

Hello

You may have seen numerous posts from me on brakes. Its proving to be a nightmare with so many models and variants available.

My turbo 2000 (my00) needs new pads and discs. I have spent literally hours narrowing down the parts I need. Can I find them.... can I f*ck. It's probably me being an idiot but I cannot find what I need.

So, please advise... Ferodo DS2500 pads for a Turbo 2000. Where do I get them?
Every option I have found seem to have the wrong fitment or shape.
I have retro fitted 4 pot Subaru Calipers. All the images on Ferodos' website show pads that clearly are the wrong fitment and I've checked every impreza they list.

The shape I need on the front are these:

Whilst I'm at it... rear brake pads.. any ideas? Would love DS2500 but cannot find them. I'm running standard rear brake. 1 pot calipers I believe.

The pad shape you have highlighted in that link is for the earlier 2 pot calipers , on a 99 car they should have 4 pot fitted that uses this shape pad

http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/~god...?id_product=42

We can supply you Ferodo DS2500's , the part number you need is FCP 986 H for front , and FCP 1333 H for rears

Cheers Ian

Hmmm...that's a worry. Either I have been mis-sold, Or i have the wrong pads in! I best investigate. Although it certainly explains some of the issues.

is it possible the above shape might fit in 4 pot calipers, albeit, incorrectly?

Once I've got this confirmed, I shall certainly be ordering from you :-) Thanks for the part numbers etc. You got Brembo discs available?
thanks mate.

its its a 99/00 JDM car then you would have had the later shape 2pots fitted as std

we stock/supply large amounts of Ferodo Racing amongst other things and the 4pot pad shape in ds2500is FCP986H with the matching rear being FCP1333H

both of these shapes are slightly expensive in ds2500 but we also supply the more cost effective & similiar Brembo Sport as a very good alternative

Thanks mate.

Its a MY00 (W reg) Turbo 2000, so UK spec. However, has retro fitted calipers on the front. Standard rears.

I'll be pulling it all apart this week to double check then hopefully order in the right bits!
