Default Performance Friction 2 piece disc options

Hi after some advice looking to upgrade front brakes on 2006 Sti.

Looking at the Performance Friction 2 piece discs, is there any advantage to buying them with their own bells, or save a few hundred quid with Godspeed or Braketech bells?

Any advice or experiences would be helpful

There would be no difference or backwards step using our bells , we use top quality materials , all CNC machined to exacting standards , and have never ever had an issue with our bells whatsoever.
When we supply them they are also bolted together ready to fit

I've had the original full PF two disc set up for years now and it's a top quality set up,my friend has the Godspeed bells on his car mated with the PF disc and pads and after driving it there was no difference in the way the breaks felt.I think that the best man to answer that question about the bell differences would be Ian himself,my friend only went with Ian's bells because of the price difference and Ian's stuff is usually good quality to so it made financial sense to him plus he's a tight GitSJ.

The original PF bells are Superb just as Alyn said mine are over 10 years now when transferred on my wife's classic and still look new.

Ok thanks for that, so no difference in performance, maybe just cosmetic differences?

Ian gave you the reply so really the decision is up to you, It just comes down to your budget if it was me I would get the original PF set up as I have had it and know the quality of it but Ian's bells seem to get good reviews so if your budget is a factor(and in most cases it is),go for Ian's.SJ.

and longevity of bells IMO......

as an aside (although they weren't those mentioned here) the only issue we have ever seen with 2pce PFC kits has been where cheap copy bells were used that transpired to be poorly made and poor material spec - not all Aluminium billets are the same by a long stretch
