Just a quickie!! All this talk and hype about winter tyres is confusing!

When do you put a set on?

I live on top of a hill that when it snows your stuck or have a 2/3hour walk in the snow to a shop!

Had a mitsibishi asx last year in snow....it was cr*p was a big sledge n was hopeless!

Is it best to get another set of wheels with tyres or just tyres

Have a hi/lo ratio couldn't I just use that with my tyres I have on now!
