Default Track wheel help please

On my classic type r I'm buying a set of 17 8j wheels to get over my 356mm brakes. Iv also brought some dunlop cr311 track tyres in 220/640/17 what do I need to fit these with out any rubbing problems etc? Any help much appreciated with only a month til totb and on hols a week of that ahhh

you'll struggle to get std 17" wheels over a 356mm brake kit unless mega low offset

Hi Alyn they fit a rota force 17 8j et 44 fits over them just lol

you should have had them today...............

not sure how your going to get 8J ET44 wheels under std Type-R arches???

You wont, I had my arches rolled and pulled running ET35 8" rota force and they still caught

What tyres banny? Oh really don't say this so with rolling still not gonna happen? It's so hard to find a 17 inch wheel to fit over my brakes and fit under standard non abw wide **** arches.
Any ideas be much appreciated Iv already brought the cr311 tyres

I was on RE070s 225/45/17 and same size AD08s, you may get away with as yours will be sitting 9mm closer to the hub than what I had...

Ahh man expensive trial and error. These dunlops are huge tho you seen the sidewall s on them? Do you run pretty low tho?

Arrived today Alyn thanks but they did leave on door step with porch door open. Il get fitting them now

Today I fitted wheels had to shave caliper tho to fit. Had bit of rub on hard right hand sounded like rear but seems of been front crap guard. Sits like a monster truck tho I got like 200 mm from side skirt to floor and 345 centre hub to arch front and 340 rear. Sound about right?
