what are brembos good for

Default what are brembos good for

just another quick question people i have a set of gold brembos fitted on my classic.but very soon it will be running 450bhp mark.will these brakes still be up to it or will i be pushing them past what they are capable of

They will be OK for your needs,would suggest better pads(PF or Pagid pads) and good disc(PF discs) plus good fluid with braided lines

like most things they "should" be OK for most uses but if your very aggressive on the brakes or run an extreme set-up then you may find their limitations........as Jura states above the likes of the Performance Friction 2pce discs and high quality pads (front & rear) will all help

I use HEL braided lines all round, with DOT 5.1 fluid.

Oh & i'm running, PF 2 piece front discs with PF Z rated pads all round..:

Brembo's can work very well.

Performance Friction 2 piece floating discs are very good.

Plenty of pad options available (PF, EBC, Pagid etc), depending on what you'll be using the car for.
