If i was to be a bit picky then i would complain about the amount of dust they create, but apart from that i can honestly say i have not really had any issues,
Sorry not strictly true, they where squeeling like hell a couple of weeks back, but that wasn't the pads fault it was the fact that i was missing the thin shims that should have been there.
Put the shims in, and hey presto no problems
By the way, their on a 99 turbo 2000, slightly modded, but not running major power levels like some, and i do drive like a tw@

Just ordered a complete set of std spec Pagids for £47 from Eurocarparts , they are doing a 31% off deal at the moment.
At that price they are worth a try, just dont drive hard enough to keep my current PF Z rated pads hot.

Standard pads are just that, standard.
Eurocarparts own the Pagid licensing right afaik. The only thing Pagid about them would be the name on the box.
Not to be confused with the Pagid performance range or any other performance pad for that matter. Less than an extra £50 buys you a set of kevlar fast road pads.

I switched to standard ecp pagid pads and discs just before last winter. I sprint my car and ran pf stuff last year and did suffer with some fade with them.
So i bought some cheap pagid stuff. Discs and pads all round was around £120. The aim was just to use them for road use over the winter and the upgrade for the new sprint season. Over the winter i used them pretty hard and was so impressed decided to give the a go for sprinting. Its now halfway through the season. There about half worn which is good, more importantly the stopping power is imense and i havent had any fade at all nor have i been able to over heat them. All on standard brembo calipers

to be able to "fade" a PF pad means either you didn't bed them properly or you had some other fault/problem which was the cause of your "fade"...........
pads alone are not the only cause/solution to brake fade........
alyn
** just to add the std OEM Pagid pads are very good for their cost and IMO far better than a lot of these entry level so-called 'fast road' pads

The pf pads were getting so hot they were obviously boiling the dot4 fluid. In fact to the point after some runs the front pads/discs were smoking. It could have course been a sticky piston that became unstuck once it was pushed back into the caliper.

Just as an update, std Pagid pads got delivered but the Eurocarparts catalogue and the Mintex/Pagid catalogue their system is based on all list the wrong rear pads for Brembo caliper. The correct rear pad is Pagid T1209 which is listed for a Teves caliper in the catalogues. Had interesting time at the Eurocarparts store, the parts guy insisted the catalogue can not be wrong
Hoping to fit them in the next few weeks and will give some feedback.

When I first bought my car, I got a set of Pagid pads from Alyn and they were fantastic in the OEM 2 pots.
IIRC Pagid discontinued them for the 2 pots and I never had as good braking with any of the replacement pads, and I refused to pay £100+ for a set of pads.
Currently running Hawkeye WRX 4 pots, and 2 pot rears with Pagid disks and pads on the front and once again I think they are damn good, especially when considering the low cost.

Have not tried fitting them yet, no time as I have to work away during the week.
This should be the ones for front Brembo
