Hey,

Been trawling threads to get a definitive answer to the above question.....and not really got a 100% so would appreciate some help.

Iv currenly got the standard 17" wrx wheels and im considering buying some 2002 bug eye sti wheels from someone locally on eBay, and A was wondering if they would fit and B could I simply swap the tyres from my wrx alloys to the 17" sti wheels as they currently don't have tires and the guy selling them does not know the size that was fitted to them.

Any help would be massively appreciated

Yes they will fit but the STI alloys are a little wider and usually have a 225/45 17 tyre fitted. Speak to M444GY on here, he will let you know if your tyres would fit the STI alloys safely.

Not a worry. Your blob wrx uses the same oe alloy size as mine. The thing you need to concern yourself with is the PCD. The wrx uses 5 x 100, the Bug STI uses 5 x 100, so you are sorted there.
