Unhappy A quick tutorial on rims? STI v7

Hi guys,

I am planning to change the rims on my WRX STI V7 to some 18" Rota Grids Flat Black.
Here is the link:http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-...-470510687.htm
(I know these are expensive but I am planning to get some from US as it comes up almost half price)

I am unaware of the offset needed to clear the brembos and also are there specific tyres that I need to use?

Also I am a newbie so dont know what all the rim numbers mean so can anyone help me out here?

you will need 18x9.5 et/offset 35/38 , you may require a 3mm spacer to clear the front brembos , due to the width you will have to run 225,40,18 tyres stretched on the rims. we use falkens as they stretch better than most tyres .

hope this helps a bit
