Brembo conversion help
Hi all, i've got an 07 gb270 wagon so basically a wrx. A friend of mine is selling a full set of Brembos including disks from his 06 sti blobeye. I was just wondering if they are a direct bolt on for my car before i try to fit them?
The main things im bothered about are if the calipers bolt straight on, if i can keep the original brake lines, if they will fit under my wheels and if i can use the disks. Any help would be really appreciated

Not sure about the wheels but I expect you be fine. In terms of a straight swap, yes the calipers bolt straight up and use the existing brake lines but you'll need to either get 5x100 pcd discs or get the existing discs redrilled which is not expensive if you can find someone to do it, just done the same conversion on my bug WRX but with the right PCD discs - what wheels have you got?

If you can get all 4 calipers for that price you're doing well. I've seen them for sale for a lot more than that on ebay, full sets can be had with discs and pads for £650 on a good day

Just clamp the discs in a vice and re-drill the holes - not a DIY job though as you'll want a pillar drill and some tooling to set the PCD correctly etc but your average machine shop will rattle it off in no time. In principle alloys can be done, but it will weaken them and I personally wouldn't touch that idea with a barge pole
