Default Brake Disc Shield Plate

Brake disc shield, worth to remove these shields as I believe will help in brake discs cooling. Anyone remove them and encounter problem ?

Mine came off when the 335 discs went on.

As above, all mine removed when larger brakes were fitted.

Drill out the spot weld, clean up area and paint with hammerite smooth black.

fronts are bolted, rears are spot welded on..............

Toying with the idea of removing mine completely - or running ducting from old fog lamp location to improve brake cooling (not seen this mod on many Scooby's tho?? )

Removing them does no harm. In fact it stops the annoying habit of trapping a stone bewtween disc and cover, which sounds like all hell is breaking out as the car moves, very scary, first time it does it.
