Default Advice on my nuts!

I bought a set of propper Subaru WRX alloys (classic style) for my non tub run about bug eye... it currently has steelies fitted with these nuts:

Other than cosmetic reasons, will using these nuts be safe to use with my alloys, or should i buy and use a set of "alloy wheel nuts" off ebay, like these?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-Alloy-W...item3f129882a8

Cheers for any info and advice

p.s these current rusty nuts do have a slight 60 deg cone to them... but not as deep as the ones on ebay... mind you the holes in the alloys dont look like they have a very deep seat for the cone, if you get what i mean?

hmm ok... Any more advice on this please? I have heard stories about steel nuts cutting into alloys, but surely standard manufacture nuts are steel? Anyone know/got a pic of a standard classic scoob with standard alloys on? What nuts are on it?

they are made of same material, but manufactured different. less of an angle, more surface area so the dont cut in.

Alloy nuts are specifically banned from sprints/hillclimbs by the MSA regs - I am assuming this is on safety grounds, rather than cost or performance increases.

To me that suggests they are worth avoiding?
