Do the early blob eyes have 5 x 100?
At what point did they change to 5 x 114?
Found a spare from a 2004 WRX STI Type UK.

Depends on the Model Year, not the year of registration. It is MY05 onward STi models that have 114mm - they are differentiated by the small rear wheel arch extensions needed as a result of the wider track.
MY05 was launched in Japan sometime around October 2004 (which is when mine was registered) and were generally available in the UK from early 2005. So could be on a 54 plate (but not an 04) - but, equally, an 05 plate *could* be old stock of the MY04 model!!
