Are a good improevement on the standard items although you may be better spending slightly more and getting a better pad with the discs.

I've been using the Kevlar pads on my newage STI for a month now and they are very good, especially from cold.

Seems too good to be true! I need new discs and pads for my sti, will these be a straight swap for the standard discs? And the pads fit straight into the Brembos?

I had a set fitted a few days ago to the litchfield - had the pads on my blobWRX before.
They're still bedding in but feel good and work from cold should be excellent when they're fully bedded in.

that is exactly what i need to know as I use my car everyday so on a general day not much heat builds up as i hardly use my brakes. Its only when I go out for a "drive" do i need the brakes to cope with lots of heat and not fade on me. I never track my car so doesn't really need to be full race spec. A friend suggested Godspeed brakes so thought I would have a look then saw this set looks like it could be just what i need :-).

Why are there front only discs and orangestuff pads on there for £250? The set being discussed are cheaper and you get rears as well...?

+1 for Godspeed brakes. I had new custom discs made to fit my Bell housings from Ian, refurbed my Brembo GT's and supplied a new set of Kevlar pads. Awesome and great from cold. Probably wouldn't go anywhere else now

They're classed as fast road pads, and believe me, they stop my 336 horses in a jiffy!

The Orangestuff pads are £154.44 on there own , the kevlar pads are cheaper , so the full kit is cheaper.

The kevlar pads are a good increase from standard , but don't perform anywhere near as good as the orangestuff pads

We try and put together packages to suit everyones pocket and use , the more expensive pads work better when driven very hard , on the track the kevlars would end up fading

Cheers Ian

Where do I sign...!

Think the Kevlar set up will do me as I don't track and need to replace front and rears so this would be ideal for me.

just fitting mine now, not sure what brake fluid is in the system already, what should I top up with in this case? If I up for 5.1 could it mix poorly if dot 4 has been used in the past?

DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 will mix OK but best practice is to bleed the system so you have fresh DOT 5.1 in it.
