Default Track wheels

Guys and gals, I've lined up a set of alloys to use as track wheels. 18's, currently running 215 (width is 7.5). Will this be enough to allow me to run 225 as lots of used moulded slicks seem to come in 225 rather than 215. Within tollerances I would have thought but wanted to check. Thanks

John

Hi John

A 225 section tyre will fit onto a 7.5x18" wheel no problem. Due to the extra width over a 215 you will have a bit of extra rim protection too.

Thanks

Keith
