I did buy some because I've had them on my motorbikes because they are very well made and made down in Devon for a change.

I must confess though, I've not got round to fitting them yet!

Goodridge seem to be a decent brand. I happened upon a set front and back, brand new, for £15! Just need to get them fitted.

As with all owners, the guy had them sat in his garage waiting to fit, then sold the car and wanted rid. About £70 worth as far as I know.

make sure you order the four spring clips that hold the flexible lines to the rigid - rears are different to fronts - youl destroy yours taking them apart

I got HEL braided lines with stainless steel fixing fitted to the RB.

I used http://www.brake-lines.co.uk/subaru-...ake-lines.html, cracking next day delivery direct from HEL.
Great service and they're offering 10% discount in December!

Indeed. Won't be buying for a few weeks though. Getting service done along with the hoses, better brake fluid and alignment check end if next month.

Well, had my HEL`s fitted and.....not really impressed. Pedal feels more or less the same. I still have to depress it twice to get a good `bite`. The garage reckons maybe the pistons might be a bit stiff and allowing the pads to move away from the discs so needing a couple of presses to make contact! He recommended getting the Brembos serviced (new seals and all that). Thoughts please?

I think the need to double pump the brake peddle is due in the main to the bulkhead flex!

I have recently fitted a Tegiwa Brake Stopper, which does definitely give a better feel to the peddle and I do feel less inclined to double pump the brake peddle.

It's pretty pathetic that the bulkhead is so weak that it flexes in the first place.

For thirty quid it's worth trying a brake stopper. You may find that after spending a fortune having your calipers serviced that it doesn't improve the feel.

There are plenty of threads on here from others who have done exactly that.

It was changed at the same time as the hose fitting. My brake stopper has arrived so I'll have to get that on over the weekend

Let us know how you get on, and take loads of pics when you fit it.
I`m interested in one of these, and want to know how it gets on.

Ok, I`ve had a look and I`m confused. I can sort of see where the large bit fits but what`s the smaller bit for??? The stopper it the thread below seems to have an extra angled bit at the back too!

These are the pics from another thread
