Driving down the m6 yesterday we had come to a standstill and a guy in a white van in the lane next to me shouts that I have got a flat tyre. I came off at the next junction(luckily only 1/2 mile), pulled over and sure enough my tyre was very low.
I appear to have a slow puncture.
However driving back last night (topping the tyre up b4), I had been on the motorway for about twenty minutes then the car started vibrating.
I assumed my tyre had gone down again so pulled off at the next junction. Checked the tyre and it was fine.
Driving again today and it's vibrating when i get above 50 mph.
Anyone any idea what it might be?
Is it just that the tyre might not be sitting right on the wheel?
I'm going at lunchtime to get the tyre sorted but wondered if it's something more serious.

running with it low may mean you've built up excess heat in the tyre and it's become damaged in some way.. I did this once and when I had the tyre changed there was a large area on the inside which had delaminated.. quite scary.. keep your speed down until you get it sorted..
