godspeed big brake kit
hi all, i have the god speed big brake kit on my car (335mm i think) and was wondering if standard 16 inch wheels fit over them.
i have 17 inch wheels at the mo, but would like to refurb them over the winter and fancy a cheapo replacment set.
thanks
ian

Negative, I have had the standard 17 wrx wheels over them and there was enough room for a *** paper between the caliper and the wheel. I now have STI alloys and they fit under there also but 16s will not fit Im sure.
Are you still on the first set of pads and discs?

on second set of discs not and second set of pads, but it doesnt help that my calipers have seized a couple of times now, ist time killed a set of pads, and it didnt help the discs much, lol, so much for these rebulds, after the second time of having them rebuilt by someone else, when the rear seized the other month, i decided to rebuild it my self.
thought as much about the 16 inch wheels, but had my fingers crossed just in case lol

i cant remember on the discs, but you dont need the bell, just the disc and bolt it on your self.
I has the ds2500 pads, but didnt get on with them that well, as most of my driving is to the shops and back and i never got enough heat into them to work them well.
so i went for a so call basic (one step up from a standard pad) from godspeed. dor day to day driving, the bite was alot sharper, but at a guess, on a track they would not last as well. i think they were around £60-£80
