Unbalanced rear end while hard braking
So had this little unpleasant situation. Me and my mate went for a little blast while comming back to his place, at one point we stoped at the trafic light and gav it a small drag race till the speed camera which was aprox 100 meters away, there were no cars BTW and was very late so no need to teach me how to drive on the public roads, lol. So we went for it and then we braked hard to slow down before speed camera. As i steped on a pedal the weight transfered to the front and i know classics have this isue, light wobling rear end. It went to the left quiet hard so i had to lock. I just didnt think that might be so bad. So my question would be, how can i improve that without going to brembos, got 4 pots now.

I found this to,even though their was nothing wrong with the rear brakes! I solved it by putting a set of the later 2 pots on,now it feels so much more balanced when braking hard!

As above, i assume from what happened you have 4 pots up front but still have the ****e 1 pot sliding calipers on the rear, this is the problem, fit 2 pots on the rear, no more rear end coming forward

The rear one pot calipers are pants , this is why Subaru fitted the 2 pot caliper on the back of the Type R as these were the cars meant for rallying , it makes the braking a lot better.
Still your car shouldn't pull to one side , so check that all the pistons on both front and rear calipers are working properly and free to move , and the sliders on the rear calipers are free
Cheers Ian

I've gone Brembo STi two pots on the rear of my classic, using Ian's kit.
They DO fit under WRX newage wheels.
I've also had the brake bias mod done, and the car now feels far more planted.
AFAIK, they remove the brake bias valve, which makes the rears do more work.
Couldn't believe how much difference it made first time I tried it.

Hi, so basically removing this bias valve will improve rear braking power and improve overall stopping power. I doubt it's a simple job to remove this valve. Anyone can advice basically how's it is carried out ?
Thanks.
