Snow Tyres
Gents,
Looking for expert advice.
Ive been shopping for winter tyres for my 57 STi, can I get away with getting just the front pair done or is it important to do all wheels with it being 4x4? My concern lies with the diffs getting better traction on the front then the rear.
They will all be the same ratio tyres just different tread FYI.
Cheers.

What tyres do you currently run, i would say that they are not needed for a 4wd car anyway. many times with my wrx hawkeye i had a few years ago i was the only car to make it up the street in the snow. uneless you run r888 at the mo i wouldnt bother

I got a set of Nokians for my Turbo last year.
Fantastic, never got stuck not even slightly when experimenting with deep snow on steep slopes.
Have Avon zz3's as normal tyres and they were ok in snow, but still slipped and a fair bit of wheelspin, the Nokians just dig in and find the grip a lot more, also excellent when braking, very little ABS intervention.
