Default Help - I Can't find Vredesteins for my WRX

As above, it's time for some new Tyres and thought I'd try the Sessantas after hearing such good reviews about them.

I've searched Camskill, black circles and Elite Direct online but no-one stocks them in the size I need, which is 215/45/17 only 225/45/17.

Is it ok to use the wider tyre on the newage wrx alloy or will it cause problems?

Thanks

http://www.clickontyres.com/ultracse...essanta_XL_94Y

These will fit... a useful increase in grip.

IMHO

Hi buddy.

Call Damian at click on tyres.

Just checked and he has the 225/45/17's in stock.

Sessantas don't come in 215/45/17's.

He also said £90 a tyre delivered. ( cheap if you ask me ).

01274 288000. Tell him Chris told ya to call.

Also - if anyone else wants some, give him a call.

Chris.

Thanks for all of the replies guys, really appreciate it

Will it cause any problems if I change the size to 225's on the front and leave my rears at 215 as they have a bit more life in them and didn't intend on changing them yet?

It will damage your diff.

I've always been told to change all 4 at the same time.

Hope that helps.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply, do you mean you wouldn't go to the wider tyre and keep the backs as 215's or that you would change all 4 tyres even if you were keeping the same width so that it didn't damage the diff?

If you have one tyre that's 215, and another thats 225, the circumference will be different. Even tho they both might be 17". ( it's the rim that's 17", not the edge of the tyre.

Google tyre size calculator and that will explain it better then I can.

I would personally change all 4.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for that, Interesting link aswell! Will be swapping all 4 now. Just a shame as my rears (eagle f1 GSD3's) still got some life in them.

Thanks for all the replies guys
